These free music events happen throughout the year and are made possible by the generosity of donors and foundations. 

Holiday Open House

Monday, December 5 from 4-7pm

Come say hello and learn about all Queen Bee has to offer during our holiday open house! We'll have light food and beverages, as well as music activities for all ages. 

All Evening | Instrument Petting Zoo–try out the guitar, ukulele, banjo, mandolin or percussion!

 

4:15-4:45pm | Kids Sing Along with Sarah-Jane

5:15-5:45pm | Family Ukulele Jam - all ages, ukes provided

6:00-7:00pm | Folk Jam - all instruments & singers welcome!

Thursdays, beginning October 6 at Queen Bee Music Association, 6:30-8pm

No Session December 1 - Folk Music Karaoke instead!

Calling all songwriters, our Song Circles are an opportunity to get inspired, workshop your songs, and gather feedback from peers and professional musicians in Santa Fe.

Sign ups begin at 6:30pm!

Hit the stage at Tumbleroot, we'll provide the song book and the live band to back you up!

House band features Brian Nelson (guitar), Carl Davis (lead guitar), Alex Reiser (bass), and Loren Bievenu (drums.) MC'd by Allegra Love.

Folk Jam

Monday, December 5 from 6pm-7pm during our Open House

Open to all levels and all instruments, come jam your favorite folk tunes. Don't know a bunch of tunes? No problem, we'll bring song books to select from.

Kids Sing Along for kids under 5

Weekly and monthly at various locations around Santa Fe

Get those kids singing, moving, and shaking! Teachers Sarah-Jane and Teacher B lead classes through a variety of engaging music games and sing-alongs. Learn more.

Instrument Petting Zoos + Ukulele Strums

Second Fridays at Santa Fe Children's Museum, from 2-4pm

Let's make some noise! Kids of all ages can explore a variety of stringed instruments in Queen Bee's Instrument Petting Zoo. We'll even have a few ukuleles to strum and sing some of your favorite songs. 

After School Programs

At various school locations around Northern New Mexico

With the help of our donors, we're able to bring music education to classrooms and schools all around Northern New Mexico. We offer workshops and classes in ukulele, songwriting, music production, guitar, and our early childhood Kids Sing Along program. Contact us to bring a program to your school!
