QUEEN BEE MUSIC ASSOCIATION

Welcome to our community music school! Founded in 2019, Queen Bee Music Association supports all musicians, no matter their age, aspiration, or ability. 

​

Whether you’re an aspiring musician looking to learn new skills, an artist looking for inspiration, or a parent of a rock star-to-be, Queen Bee provides support every step of the way.

Calling all songwriters! Queen Bee hosts a few different events throughout the year to help inspire your craft.

Songwriters Circle | April 4
1st Thursdays, 6:30-8pm, Free to attend

at Queen Bee Music Association

 

Spring Songwriting Intensive | April 13-14​

with guest instructors David Berkeley, Martin Gilmore, and poet laureate Jovan Mays!

Saturday, 9:30am-4:30pm, Sunday, 11am-1pm

at Queen Bee Music Association

$75 advance, $80 day-of. Single Workshops, $25

Spring Session Registration Is Open!

Find your class, learn new skills, meet new folks! At Queen Bee, we teach in a group setting, where you're able to find the magic of playing with others. Classes for kids and adults are offered on guitar, ukulele, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, singing, songwriting. 

​

Our Spring Session of group classes begin April 1 and run through May 23. Registration is now open.

​

NEW THIS SESSION: Community Choir with David Bronstein on Thursdays from 6-7:15pm! Join others in song as a wonderful break in your week. Learn more.

Save the date for our 3rd annual fundraising event, the Honey Pot Hootenanny! This family-friendly event features live music, prizes and fun for the whole family as we fill the honey pot for our Scholarship Fund.

April's Jam will be held at the Railyard Park Conservancy's Community Room, adjacent to SITE Santa Fe.

Folk Jam | April 25

4th Thursdays, 7-8:30pm

Open to all levels and instruments.

Hit the stage and we'll provide the live band to back you up! Queen Bee's house band features Brian Nelson (guitar), Carl Davis (lead guitar), Alex Reiser (bass), and Eric Sawyer (drums.)

Free Kids Sing Along Classes
